Fun, retro, and fun

just all around great. it reminds me of a classic gameboy game.

Best App I Have Ever Played

This Game Is The Best Hidden Gem In App Store History. Okay, Thats Far Stretched. But You Get My Point Of How Its A Great Game. I Absolutely Love The Nostalgic GameBoy Graphics And How The Enemy Placement Is Random Every Time. And Heres A Perk going With Simple Graphics: Youll Have Plenty Of Space Putting In Extra Detail. All In All, this game Is Simply Great. I Have Never Seen A App So Great And Complex But With Still Simple But Visually Appealing Graphics. And The Entire Story Is Driven By A Cliché Plot; A Boy Is Following His Dog Wondering Were The Dogs Going. Either Way, Im Very Surprised This Isnt In The Top 100 Free Apps Chart. Concluding, Into The Dim Is By Far The Greatest App I Have Ever Played. -SteamPunkGaming

THIS. IS. AWESOME.

I. NEED. A. SEQUEL.

I keep dying

I actually have a love hate relationship with this game

An old warhorse with a cruel level of baggage

Pros: - Retro Graphics and easy to grasp interface - Enjoyable combat that rewards the use of strategy - Intermittent puzzles of increasing difficulty that help break up the monotony of a crawl Cons: - Debilitating micro transaction timers Summary - This game is a throwback to some of the classic RPGs that is bogged down pay to win timers. I would rather have spent 3.99 on the game initially and skipped the timers than waiting hours for upgrades that Ive already paid for with in game currency to be applied. Put a price on the game, ditch the micro transaction nonsense and Ill give you 5 stars. Enough of this formula already.

Sequel please!

This game is really fun. Its turn-based strategy, and perfect for semi-casual play. The recharging heart system was confusing to me at first, especially when I started s new level with only one heart. My advice is to experiment a little to get the hang of the gameplay, and you will do fine. Please make a sequel!

Simple dungeon crawl, great atmosphere

I love the theme this game sets straight from the intro. It reminds me of Secret of Evermore, following your dog into a crazy situation which forces you to fend for your life. Its a dungeon crawl turn based strategy game with The typical Free To Play downfalls of micro-transactions and advertisements to help you get what you want. This is very unfortunate because it totally breaks the feel of the atmosphere, which is what really makes this game worth playing. However, if you care that much about atmosphere you can just pay to disable ads and show your appreciation to developers in exchange for a better play experience. You earn coins during the play through which you use to unlock upgrades, and the upgrades feed on your need for instant gratification by asking you for more coins, which you can either earn the HARD (tedious) way, or pay real money for. If you are patient with the upgrades, and either pay or choose to skip all advertisements, this game is legitimately one of the best free to play games I have played of its type.

IAP-heavy Dungeon Crawl

Every mechanic seems to be designed around encouraging you to buy more coins. From buying upgrades that make the game a lot more tolerable, to spending *extra* coins to not have to wait for the upgrade to "finish", it doesnt even try to hide its greed. Just make me pay up front, dont pretend Im stupid.

Awesome game!

The game doesn’t hold your hand. When you find out certain mechanics in the game that you can use to your advantage it becomes an actual discovery (If you’re having difficulty with the game, try and be observant. I don’t want to spoil anything). This is rare as most games tend to front load their entire game onto the player leaving little room to discover something new, which for me is entirely part of the experience.

Really good game!!

better than i thought it would be, it makes you think and the levels are challenging but not too difficult. the characters are precious and overall a good concept and story.

Its pretty satisfying

Its hard for me to get into a mobile game. But this games easy to understand gameplay, and not over advertising, doesnt stop me from wanting to pick the game up from time to time. Its fun, hard, and addicting.

Pretty good game

I like how its designed and how its not pushing you to buy or watch adds. I dont mind spending a buck to get rid of the adds, that way they get the money and possibly make more levels in the future!

Solid Game

I just beat this game. Its really fun and challenging. The first couple of levels takes some getting use to but overall this is a really good, solid, turn based game. Please make a sequel! Also if your saying this game is to hard, try playing R Type! Also the last boss is annoying.......really annoying.

gr8 m8 i r8... 4/5

i havent made it that far in the game yet, but i like it. i like the options you have. i dont really play mobile games but this may change my mind. the musics pretty nice too

Great Hit from Happymagenta

This is the second game Ive put on my phone from this developer, and it is so well put together, it makes me want to work for them as a composer.

Amazing Game

The game is awesome. Has retro graphics, takes strategy, and just fun gameplay overall. It is slightly challenging and time consuming.

great game

I really like the style of the game and how simple the gameplay is. You have to think before making a move and I think that is a quality more games need nowadays. Love playing it, 5 stars.

Perfect

Great texture,great soundtracks,and amazing puzzles. But...NEEDS SEQUEL!

overrated

I guess if you have never played any games than ones on the iPhone this is probably amazing. It’s a cheap game designed not for fun but for you to purchase coins with in app purchases.

Yes!

Lovely 8-bit sound, and nice puzzles.
